Member Edit - No Change All

Edit one or multiple members in the 3D model without changing others with the same piecemark.

1 . Click the Member Edit - No Change All icon, which is pictured above. The icon can be found on the Members page > Edit section.

Method 2: Preselect a Member to enable the Members contextual page and click the Member Edit - No Change All icon found in the Modify section.

Alternative: Invoke Member Edit - No Change All using the Find Tool by searching the command name and clicking the icon, which is pictured above.

2 . The status line prompts you to "Select member". Select the one or more members, then press the Enter key or right-click and choose OK on the context menu.

3 . The member edit window opens if all selected members were the same member type. If there were multiple member types selected, the edit properties widow opens.

  • When you edit one member , you are not given the option to change all members that share the same piecemark. Any change you make is applied to only the one member you selected.

  • All members are assigned a unique member number [num] when they are created. No two members in the same Job have the same member number.
  • If a Multiple Edit Password has been set up, you cannot multi-edit until you have entered that exact, case-sensitive password.
  • Be aware of the meaning of mixed entries. They indicate that different settings have been applied to the members being edited. You may find mixed entries even when the members you are editing all have the same piecemark. You can edit such fields.
  • If you are editing a single member, the Summary on a member edit window gives you a list of the member numbers of all members with the same piecemark as the member whose edit window you are on.
  • Other ways to edit a member: double-click or right-click > Edit Other.
